De Firma Kunstcentrum Gouda biedt een podium voor professionele kunstenaars uit Gouda en omgeving, is een broedplaats voor talent en een ontmoetingsplek voor kunstenaars en publiek. Het doel van De Firma is het onder de aandacht brengen bij een zo\u2019n groot mogelijk publiek van alle vormen van hedendaagse kunst. Hiermee verbetert het kunstklimaat in Gouda en de economische zelfstandigheid van kunstenaars.<\/p>\n

12:00 \u2013 8:00 PM<\/strong> <\/p>\n Red cabbage as a guide through Gouda soil<\/strong> <\/p>\n Project Red Cabbage is a participatory study of the city’s soil quality. In May, more than one hundred red cabbage plants were planted in various locations throughout Gouda by residents themselves. The harvest followed in September, revealing how much the cabbages varied in size, shape, and color depending on their location.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The exhibition presents the results of this research as a colorful representation of the local soil. During Gouda by Candlelight, we will be spotlighting anthocyanin, the pigment of red cabbage. Light is a key element in creating prints with plant-based pigments.
