ask me anything is a duo consisting of Nadine Rypkema (Rotterdam) and Jasper Sabbe (Antwerp). They met at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. Since then, they have accompanied each other in their search for new sounds. With a wide range of instruments, including guitar, drums, melodica, bass, and electronic samples, they support each other in their music and invite the audience to become part of their musical world: a crossover of folk, jazz, minimal music, and cabaret.

During Gouda by Candlelight 2025, Charissa & Julien will make their long-awaited comeback as an acoustic duo! After years of silence, they were itching to get back into the swing of things in November 2024: Charissa registered for the second edition of Stem van de Waard and was even declared the winner in April 2025.

The native Goudaers will create an intimate, acoustic atmosphere with a mix of familiar sounds and new inspiration.

5:15 PM – 5:45 PM
The ladies will sing charming polyphonic songs, accompanied by a gentleman on guitar. They’ll play a varied acoustic repertoire, covering old, new, familiar, unfamiliar, and, of course, Christmas.

8:00 PM – 8:45 PM
LEFF brings a completely different vibe, so forget the classic Christmas bells and angelic singing. This energetic vocal group from Oud-Beijerland throws traditional Christmas carols overboard and serves up a festive cocktail of swinging pop Christmas hits with a wink and a smile. Think glitter, groove, and guaranteed NO sitting still: as soon as LEFF starts singing, every stage turns into a party.

Rena Holt is a versatile Dutch singer who performs both solo and with a band. With her mix of country rock and soulful ballads, she knows how to touch and captivate any audience. Her warm voice and sincere performance make her relatable and accessible, while the stirring songs create energy and connection.
