If you are traveling in a wheelchair and would like to experience this special evening up close, you can register for a spot near the tree. There are 6 wheelchair spaces, allowing for one companion. You can request a spot from the municipality of Gouda via the contact form on our website.
Please note that Gouda residents will be given priority for these spots up to a week before Gouda by Candlelight. The ceremony can also be followed clearly via a screen in the Market Square.
The program also indicates whether the location is wheelchair accessible.
Parking and Public Transport
With a disability placard you can park for free in the designated parking spaces for the disabled you find on this map of the municipality of Gouda.
The train and bus station is located approximately 700 meters from the Markt, around which most performances will take place. More information about accessible bus travel in the region can be found at Arriva.nl.
