Suoni Allegri, this quartet consists of four girls between the ages of 10 and 17 who play all types of recorders. They perform music from the 16th to the 20th century. For Candlelight Afternoon, they bring a mix of Christmas, Renaissance, and Baroque music. They also play solos, creating a cheerful sound (“Suoni Allegri”).
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM
La Brezza consists of a group of enthusiastic, highly advanced amateurs who particularly enjoy Renaissance and Baroque music. For Candlelight Afternoon, they play primarily classical Christmas music.

Trio Bordeaux consists of three musicians (Vera Boersma, Carlijn Smid-van Bochove, and Aart van Bochove-Smid), who perform a variety of music on violin, viola, and piano. Their repertoire includes film scores (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, etc.), pop music (e.g., ABBA), and classical music (e.g., Schubert). Of course, Christmas music is a must on this beautiful day!

The Rotterdam duo Sommerhûs, consisting of singer/guitarist Vera Jessen-Juhrend and singer/double bassist Peter Jessen, blends elements of pop, classical music, folk, and avant-garde into a distinctive sound. While Sommerhûs always stays true to themselves, their dynamic music knows no boundaries.

The Rosko Quartet, four passionate string players from the Utrecht Conservatory, will present a warm and varied program of classical works and music to get you in the Christmas spirit. Their close friendship and love of music will make for an intimate and sparkling evening!
