For the 20th year running, over 30 Christmas trees will be floating in the Karnemelksloot canal during Gouda by Candlelight. This has been a long-standing project by Karnemelksloot residents.

All the floating trees are, of course, decorated with ornaments and beautifully lit. If the wind isn’t too strong, hundreds of burning tea lights along the quays will enhance the magical atmosphere from 5:00 PM onward! A real, illuminated nativity scene will float at the beginning of the Karnemelksloot canal. Stroll past the Christmas-themed facades and take beautiful photos from one of the bridges. Enjoy!
