19. Het Commissarishuys, Veerstal 32
The history of the building on the corner of Veerstal and Bogen in Gouda, at the head of the Museum Harbor and near the Mallegatsluis and the IJsselhuis park, dates back to 1471. Until 1853, the Commissioner’s House was the home of the commissioner of the Gouda Wagenveer (carriage ferry). Besides being a departure and arrival point for the carriage, it also served as lodgings, a place where the horses were cared for, and where passengers could purchase tickets.

Die Lemma’s, this trio has a hard time choosing between sing-alongs, classic covers, and atmospheric, heartfelt songs. Maybe a Christmas song every now and then?
