For all ages, there’s a live nativity scene featuring Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, and the Wise Men. Children can come in and pet the animals (rabbits, chickens, and sheep). The nativity scene was created by volunteers from Kinderboerderij ‘De Goudse Hofsteden’.

De Boekfiets is a recognizable cargo bike. It’s equipped with a complete inventory of books, stuffed animals, games, art supplies, and a sound system. The Book Bikers read aloud using a story box and play language games with both children and parents. This year, the Book Bike will be at Gouda by Candlelight again, filled with fun Christmas stories! A lovely moment of peace and quiet for our youngest visitors during all the festivities in the city.

GordijnOpzij presents The Wolf’s Christmas. The wolf wants to celebrate a real Christmas with a real Christmas dinner. Preferably one with a turkey. Will he manage to find a turkey? An exciting and heartwarming Christmas story for all ages. Conceived, created, and performed by Marleen van Os and Ben Bijker.
