Welcome! Take a seat in ’t PlaatjesParadijs, dive into a suitcase full of pictures, and be inspired by the everyday beauty that can be found all around us. Choose your favorite picture and take this inspiration home with you.

’t SchilderijParadijs is a Gouda art project from Maaike Hoonhout (MKHNHT). Over the years, she has collected thousands of pictures of everyday moments. She shares her finds daily on Instagram @elke_dag_een_plaatje. In the fall of 2024, she will take her collection with her on a trip through Gouda in large suitcases to share it with the city.

Maaike will create one large collage artwork from all the pictures she has chosen, the final destination of the journey of ’t SchilderijParadijs.
