Chalumeau is the clarinet ensemble of Cultuurhuis Garenspinnerij. It consists of 12 clarinetists and is conducted by Dominique Zwartelé. Today, they will perform a heartfelt program featuring works by composers such as Palestrina, Mozart, Bach, and Handel, interspersed with poetry recitations by Marjan Honig.
20.00 – 21.00
Pop- and Jazzchoir Flexible Sound from Gouda was founded in 1987. The choir, consisting of around 30 dedicated singers, performs pop and jazz songs from the past century to the present. All of this is under the musical direction of Paul-Chris van Strien, who also arranges many of the pieces.
21.00 – 22.00
The Gouda chamber choir Cantare, conducted by Leo Rijkaart, places a high value on both quality and the joy of singing. They primarily perform a cappella choral pieces. Today, you can enjoy well-known and lesser-known English carols and Latin motets.
