Coro d’Oro; a delightful choir led by Alexandra d’Espinoza from Argentina will sing the most beautiful pieces fitting the Christmas spirit, specially for Gouda by Candlelight.
Coro d’Oro has been around since 1994. The name is a play on words: it references their origin—the choir from Gouda—while also reflecting their ambition to achieve a “golden” level of musical quality. Since 2003, the choir has been under the direction of conductor Alexandra d’Espinoza and holds one major concert annually. In addition, they perform several times a year at various events.
Their repertoire is broad, ranging from Bach to Schumann and from Dowland to Elgar, as well as featuring unique Spanish-language works. For more information about the choir, visit their website.
