24. Cultuurhuis Garenspinnerij
This ‘cultural living room’ is a gathering place for culture enthusiasts in Gouda. Here, you can normally take courses, music lessons, and workshops, as well as visit exhibitions, performances, and shows.

On the Erasmusplein, located next to the Cultural Center Garenspinnerij, stands the large, colorful statue Stille Strijd (Silent Struggle). It is an art project by SAZZA (Power of Art) and symbolizes the inner struggle that many depressed young people face. The number of suicides among young people has significantly increased in recent years. Come light a candle at the statue, as together we make the inner struggle of young people audible and visible.
