To brighten the dark days before Christmas, the Stedelijke Harmonie Caecilia will present a very diverse program during Gouda bij Kaarslicht 2024. The musical direction of this atmospheric concert is in the hands of conductor Mark Beursgens.

The 21-year-old singer-songwriter Imme is studying songwriting at the Conservatory of Rotterdam and creates music for a true listening audience. With a love for jazz, she writes and sings songs that aim to move people, in the style of Norah Jones and Eloise. This year has been packed with music for Imme. She performed at major festivals, pop venues, and even toured in England this summer!

Popkoor Rebound is a choir of about 65 people who share a passion for singing. Under the direction of the enthusiastic and skilled conductor Bart de Jong, Rebound has grown since its founding in 2012 into a choir with a beautiful sound.

For 17 years, Rockadile has been creating the wildly swinging, hip-shaking beat of Rockabilly. Their music is energetic, featuring guitar-driven melodies, driving drum rhythms, and a pumping double bass. They play songs from the greats of the 50s and 60s, including tracks by Elvis Presley, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, as well as later music by the Stray Cats and the Neutronz.
